Royal Orchid Bangalore: A Telugu and Bengali Wedding

There is an exquisite beauty in simplicity which was evident in Sunitha and Indro’s wedding. It was a fun mixed culture wedding (Telugu/ Bengali). The marriage was at The Royal Orchid Convention Centre in Yelhanka, bangalore, followed by a Reception in Kolkatta.

When we asked Sunitha, what was her favorite aspect of her Wedding? This is what she had to say “I am not someone who loves weddings etc. in fact I manage to attend just the ones that are so close to me that I would be ‘family divorced’ if I don’t attend them 😛 Hence my excitement for this new chapter in my life was skewed towards the Greece vacation awaiting us post the wedding .. ha ha.. but I got to admit I ended up having such a blast during my wedding!!!

Marrying a bong ensured that the south India rituals kept the groom’s side piqued and Instagram ready and one of my favorite moments of the wedding weekend was the ‘nakshatra searching’ ritual performed outside where we stared at the sky in bright daylight looking for a star apparently (LOL!) and danced our way through with friends and family:) it was a truly happy moment which I will not forget easily. I also loved the entrance to the pre-wedding reception with the soulful music in the background, confetti blasts and aarti by elders… it was a beautiful walk to the stage.” P.S. @The Third Eye Photography – I couldn’t have been happier with the photos. You truly managed to encompass the joy and emotions of this wedding in your photos. A big THANK YOU! ”

Here are some fun moments from the wedding.
