My name is Anand Om. I am an Instrumentation engineer by qualification (from R.V.C.E Bengaluru) and was a Project Manager in an I.T company. This job helped finance most of my photography equipment. Over the years, I spent most of my free time studying photography, shooting weddings, and portraits. I dreamed of becoming a full-time professional photographer. The seed of this thought kept growing subconsciously until one day I felt that if I didn’t take up photography as my profession, I am not living my life. One day I was at crossroads and chose to be a full-time professional photographer instead of continuing a career in I.T.
Back then I didn’t realize what an important and life-changing decision this was. I took a leap of faith and started my photography company. Soon photography became like meditation to me. You may wonder why. It is because while I am shooting, I am not thinking about the past or the future. I am fully present to the Present. This level of awareness helps me have a much richer experience of life itself.
My goal is to make you “Feel” via the medium of images! I want you to feel love, happiness, maybe even feel emotional, and re-live memories every time you see the most beautiful moments of your life.
I believe in being candid/truthful. When you speak to me, maybe you will experience that in my words. I try to understand what you really want based on your personal preferences and recommend services accordingly.

I will always remember what Anand told me during our first phone call while I was trying to decide on a wedding photographer. When I was looking for a wedding photographer, I had shortlisted a few and started making calls and meeting them. 5mins into meeting Anand, I knew that I wanted him to shoot my wedding. Besides being an incredibly passionate and talented photographer, Anand is a fantastic person. First of all, he puts in so much effort to connect with us and get to know us, our story and our family before the wedding. At the wedding, he was there for me for everything. They Knew Our Story, Our Special People & Even When I Needed A Glass Of Water. So All I Had To Do Was Enjoy The Moment While They Captured It Perfectly.
The Third Eye Photography Team captured our wedding with the utmost zeal and enthusiasm. I had them cover my Mehendi, Sangeet and Wedding. They really make yourself a part of your celebration, such that you feel like they are friends taking your pictures. Anand is good at engaging and chatting with you about your likes, dislikes and better half such that all the best expressions come through. Not only that, prior to the wedding he makes sure he has a collection of images of all your special people so that they are captured nicely too. The team is super warm and polite. They try to blend into the proceedings and catch things organically rather than making you pose or move here and there. Anand will make it a point to be with you throughout to the extent that he even passed me juice and water whenever needed it so I wasn’t stressed in any way. As for the pictures, they come out impeccably! Follow his advice when he tells you to enjoy the moment, because it really shows in the pictures. He Blended In So Naturally That Guests Thought He Was Family, But No Cousin Stays Till 3 AM Perfecting Your Wedding Shots.
Words aren’t enough to describe Anand and Pooja’s work. They are brilliant . They blended in so well with our family, people thought Anand was the groom’s cousin. Once Anand takes on a task he will complete it with perfection. Even if that means staying at the wedding venue till 3 am after all the guests have left to get a few shots of the bride and groom. Pooja was so sweet and extremely unassuming and very easy to work with. She doesn’t talk too much but her work speaks volumes. Anand is awesome !! For my wedding at Bangalore, I had Anand do the candid photography for the event. The team was absolutely fantastic !! What really made his work special was that he himself identified and met the people closest to me, made them feel at ease and shot their pictures, which turned out to be the best pictures of my wedding. My grandmother (who I adore more than anyone else) absolutely hates pictures, and he has taken some of her nicest pictures during the wedding. And till date, my grandmother remembers him from the wedding. Full of energy, friendly and equally professional, I loved my experience with his work. Another fact I loved about his work is that he captured the solemnity of a traditional Coorg (Kodava) event, making that event all that more special and significant for us.

What Stayed With Us Was Not Just The Beautiful Candid Photos, But How Deeply He Cared About Our Family And Our Experience.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Anand and the Third Eye photography team. He spends a lot of time getting to know the bride, groom, friends, family and so on and that makes so much of a difference. The extra effort he made to know our background made all of us feel very comfortable around him. He has a knack for figuring out who all the important people at the wedding are and capturing them in their best candid moments. Although I loved the traditional photography, I would say his mastery lies in his candid shots. He really creates magic with his camera when it comes to candid. I would also like to give a special mention for his dedication towards his work and art. In our case, although we did not insist, the team stretched and covered extra events like mehendi, early morning muhurtam (for which his team had to bunk overnight at the green room). After the wedding, we urgently requested for a slide show of our photos for the reception. This was a sudden request, and he could have easily refused, as the turnaround time was a few hours, but he was magically able to create a beautiful slideshow for us in no time. We highly recommend Third Eye Photography to everyone, it’s a no-brainer.

When we first met Anand, the first thing that we noticed was how high spirited he was and the zeal to do the best for us. Anand and team are very different from the other candid photographers that we met. They understood our needs and were able to connect with us so well that they became a part of our family.
